Unsure what to do with my current A-Level subjects.

I do Further maths, Maths, History and Economics. In our school we do A-Level Maths in yr 12 and all of further maths in yr 13. So because I haven't technically started Further Maths, I'm predicted A* in Maths, A* in History, and a C in economics (Year 12 mock), but with inflated ground boundaries a B. The issue is, I don't enjoy Economics as much as Maths or History. So I've chosen to widen my applications as opposed to simply applying for just finance or economics. But I feel as if I'm subconsciously biased by my sister who did Economics at uni. So long story short, I don't know what I want to do, feel as though I'm failing economics and its to hard, and continue to apply for finance and accounting, even though I don't necessarily want to do it at university. What should I do?

Yes, thanks very much for your suggestions. If you don't mind me asking what course do you do and how did you decide that you would want to study this at university?

Just a thought if you school allows you to do a full a level in a year (as they do with further maths) you could always pick something less heavy up and do it in a year if you want more then history maths and fm I know someone who did sports btec in a year instead of 2 because they dropped a subject at the end of year 12. Either way maths fm and history are great a levels you have an essay subject which is required for certain degrees and maths which is required by others!

You could try thinking about what you would like to do as a job and then sort out the degree for that?

would you rather do stem or humanities? then maybe you could narrow it down to something more along the maths route or smth more along the history route, and look at related degrees from there

Would you consider economics & history joint degree. It's got maths involved too, especially at LSE where it's more maths heavy. You could still get into good careers like in finance (obviously not the ones that require heavy maths like a data analyst).

But you get all the skills. You retain essay writing & debate skills in history alongside analytical and numerical skills with the econ side (you will be doing maths modules too)
