Convince a boss to take me back at work, who was in love with me?

Hi. I left a work place as an intern due to the fact that there was percieved rivalry between me and my female bosses long term colleague. And I couldnt take it anymore.

I don't know if they had a relationship outside of work but they texted each other om vacations, which he made known at work... And he sabotaged for me at meetings claiming I failed to do X Y Z when he never gave me instruktions (he was supposed to be My mentor). Both are married but Im guessing he's had her, why else care so much about me?

Anyway, two years have passed since I left and this female boss has been nosy about me, so I know theres still feelings for me .

I desperately need a job and I can join s
and have some one else than him mentor me. I don't mind working and seeing him as long as he doesn't mentor me.

Can I ask to comeback or is this dead in the water?

I would keep well away from a workplace where personal relationships get in the way of business. Relationships between a manager and a subordinate are often inappropriate.
