Valentines💖😒( •̀ .̫ •́ )

💝 Happy Valentine's Day, Everyone! 💝
Whether you're celebrating with a special someone, hanging with friends or treating yourself to a self-care day, I hope your day is filled with love and joy! 💕

Why not use today to:
Show appreciation to your study buddies 📚
Take a well-deserved break from your academic journey 🎯
Spread kindness in your academic community

Today I’m planning to binge watch all of the maze runner movies(on recommendation) and order in a large Hawaiian pizza (I’m a hater of pineapple on pizza but I’m giving it a try today; pizzas need love too).
Share your Valentine's Day plans below! 💌

my plans won't involve poisoning my body with junk and wasting my time!

Actually it was one of the best valentine's I had.
It's a very long story but I'm proud.

Here is a post about it: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7568360

Heyy,
selfcare is an investment and definitely not a waste of time 😭
but what did you do this valentine in place of pizza and a movie.

Hm
Pizza isn’t self-care, it’s self-destruction. Filling your body with processed junk and sitting motionless in front of a screen for two hours isn’t an investment personally—it’s just mindless indulgence. Real self-care is about strengthening your body, sharpening your mind. Yes I do believe in breaks but not having breaks which mentally destory me disguised as 'self care. '

Sorry I sound like an absolute [insert rude word ur thinking off] but that's my pov. Besides I don't think it's that great to be encouraging or supporting that behaviour it needs to be spoken out a bit. Idealistically I would like to say I spent my day in meditation contemplation servitude but honestly I went to school came back home and ruthlessly revised n worked out a bit.

Hello again! 😁

I totally get where you're coming from about staying healthy and productive, but you know what?

Life's all about finding that sweet spot between working hard and taking a breather! 😊
Listen:tea:, I love a good workout and study session too, but sometimes curling up with a pizza and a movie is exactly what our brains need to reset.

It's not about "destroying" ourselves - it's about giving ourselves permission to just... be. You know?
There's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to self-care. Some days it might be hitting the gym, other days it might be having a cosy night in.

Both are totally valid! The key is finding what makes YOU feel recharged and balanced.

And hey, we're all on different journeys here - what matters is that we're taking good care of ourselves in ways that work best for us! 💫

right yes I 100% agree with you😭 being on the grind 24/7 is highly unrealistic ans after doing the hard work u deserve to reward urself and live life besides we all could die any day so might aswell enjoy a bit.
I just find purpose in the grind and hate junk food so much sooo so much its jot even enjoyable once u knoe ehat it does to ur body so sry if j came up as rude
