Adult nurse degree 2nd year transfer to another trust ?

Would you be kicked out off course if i moved to another area to live?.I currently live near romford my hospital trust allocation is BHRUT romford.I maybe moving to Teddington area longterm due to exchange in homes.Would I just have to travel 2hours 15mins daily to BHRUT for my second year when start it.The 1st year is ok for now? or would my university consider a transfer for myself to another trust closer to me for my placements?I have medical health issues triple positive aps syndrome lupus sle nepthrits and rheumatiod arthritis on bloodthinners.Would they take this into account or would they make me keep driving/train to trust 2 hours away until i qualify every 6week placement? any advise welcome can i claim hotel costs on placements via LSF everytime? I can stay with family worse case but think its unfare to them.any advise welcome on this if i could get a placement transfer with another trust or not in the longterm as this will be my permanent longterm address?i know some in london most are 1 hour away includes my unviersity which is fine?

You will have to depend on the university closer to your new house having any availability of places to take you on.

Best thing to do is contact the other university you mentioned and ask them about this as they will give you the answers...... You'll need to try and get things sorted out so you could possibly go to the new university for start of the next academic year.

I wouldn't travel over two hours each way for university, then you'll hav did my degree at e your placements to consider due to the shifts and starting time to get to them....!!! 😔 I lived at the time over a hour away from the university I went to which was okay for university study weeks but was unsuitable for placement due to start time and where you were based so I moved over to the city i did my degree in.

I wouldn't imagine you could claim expenses back from lsf if you are choosing to travelling to and from your new house that's almost two hours away from your current university.... If you stay where you are currently and then they give you a placement that you are possibility unable to get to and from your home address then it's possible you can claim some kind of expenses back. I don't know how English student finance works with things like this as not a English resident. You'll have to speak with LSF AND STUDENT FINANCE ENGLAND.

In Scotland student nursing staff can claim back expenses over a certain amount amount of money if they have to stay in a B&B during there placement because they are unable to get back to there living address ( i did that with one placement and I got reimbursed with anything I spent over a certain amount each day).

A university can't kick you off the course for moving house.
As for placements and changing which trust you have placements with, it's all up to the university and which trusts they have links with. If the university has placements with trusts nearer to your potential new address, then this could be changed. If not, you'd have to keep commuting to your current trust but there's only so much accommodation/transport fees that can be claimed back from LSF/SFE and information on this can be found on their respective websites.
