Hey ,
I am in Year 11 and I am creating this GYG to share my GCSE journey and to motivate myself to revise .

Hoping for all 8s and 9s ….

I have just got my mock grades back and here are my new predicted grades -
Eng lang 9
Eng lit 8
Maths 7
Biology 9
Chem 7
Physics 7
Spanish 7
Comp science 8
Econ 9
DT 9

Maths and physics were disappointing … but it’s definitely motivated me :smile:

I will be sharing my (hopefully) daily revision . Please share tips ☺️☺️

Today I have LAMDA after school then Spanish tutoring (ig that counts as Spanish revision) . I don’t get home till 9:30 pm so I doubt I will be doing any revision tonight : o

This morning , I have completed a maths paper and i scored 55/80 : O .. which is about a grade 7 . The main topics i struggled with in this paper was surds , proofs , inverse proportion and completing the square . Later on today after meeting up with some friends I will do some practice questions on those . I will also complete some computer science paper 1 revision .

Hi please GIVE ME ADVICE AND FEEDBACK on how you got a 9 in lang. I keep getting a 5 I need a 6 .

i get good grades in English and what you need to focus on and remember is the AO 1 2 3 4 5 you also need to remember key context and key moments in the novel. being able to describe something with evi and context from the time period, also completing past papers are good as well this is how i like to do it complete the question best to my ability, put the question in snap ai or chatgbt write down that answer and then rewrite it using your own knowledge and the model answer
