Getting accepted after rejecting the same offer

I got accepted to QMUL Law (senior status) for the fall of 2024. However, due to some family circumstances, I could not attend so I ended up differing my acceptance (I am Canadian so moving to the UK would have not been possible at the time). Now however, I ended up rejecting the offer and I am reapplying to QMUL and other schools as well just to see if I may have another shot at some other schools and scholarships. What are my chances of getting another offer from QMUL? My grades are better than when I first applied. Also, would it be wise of me to send them an email explaining why I rejected the offer I held and to show my interest in the school?

It is unlikely they will hold any grudges. If you had to write a personal statement as part of your application then maybe a sentence or two would have not done any harm.

Thanks!! I didnt really mention it in my PS since its directed to all schools but I think I am just getting stressed because when I first applied my offer rolled in super quick and this time I am still waiting.

Email them if you are concerned. Maybe someone else will provide a better answer.
