Higher Chemistry

How much harder than NAT5 is higher chemistry? I was hoping to drop it for Higher Spanish next year but the columns didn't work out and now I'm having to do Higher chemistry. Im predicted a A/B but i feel like i dont really understand the subject so im scared of getting to higher and not understanding anything

higher chemistry is a really interesting subject, but a lot of what happens in nat5 doesn’t really happen in higher. basic knowledge from n5 like formula and n = cv = m/gfm is still used but you don’t get as many marks for it. basically A level questions at N5 are like C level questions at higher.
i would recommend it because i personally found a lot of it fascinating, and your N5 grade is promising too. though it is hard work, and you will need to study consistently and in a meaningful way. the assignment is fairly straightforward depending on what your school chooses for you, but we done rate of reaction with increasing substrate concentration and it was fairly easy.

tl;dr - good subject, lots of hard work, nat5 isn’t totally relevant to higher but the bits that are give less marks but are still good marks to get.
