Houses in Cheltenham Ladies' College
Hi! I am a student who is joining CLC for year 10 in 2025. Can anyone tell me the good houses for UC4 and UC5. To be honest, I don't know if the houses are the same from LC1 to UC5. Can any CLC current students tell me the differences and give me some suggestion? Also, please tell me how's the school overall. Like, studies, sports, internet and phone usage etc. Thank you so much if you can answer!!

hiii, im going to be in your year when you join! im in st austins but i was originally supposed to be in farnley lodge. i'll break everything down for you!
there are 9 junior houses i think with 3 days and 6 boarding. the 6 are split into 2 by 'college' or 'field' so basically what its closest to. im in a college house which i prefer because we are quite close to both in proportion so its not that bad especially when you wake up late in the mornings. The field houses are very competitive and sporty but the college ones are more laid back in a sense. in my house next year we get our phones a lot more than now. you get your phone in the morning from 7.40-8 and you can take them to your room and then you get them after school all the way to phone hand in at night, so 4.30-9.30. we have dinner at 6 and we have prep at 7 which finishes at 8.45 next year but you just leave your phone outside your room, but they arent that strcit on it and the 4's normally just have them anyways. we store them in these lockable cupboards in the main office but you can charge your devices in there! there is a lot about clc to say but i hope this helps and PM me with any questions!
