Access to HE for UOManchester Law enquiry

My question is does anybody know if a 20yr old with an Access to HE course would have entry to University of Manchester?

Hi im planning on taking an Access to HE course in law, politics and criminology this september.
I have already received an unconditional offer.
The plan is to use this to gain entry to uni for LLB as due to mental illness I only gained an AS level sociology when I finished sixthform.
I have checked the website entry requirements for uni of manchester LLB and they do accept Access to HE diplomas but I am confused about one of the criteria as it said "Typical applicant - A mature student returning to education after a number of years."~ I would be 20 years old by the time I complete my access course and I am indeed in a gap year right now, my question is does anybody know if a 20yr old with an Access to HE course would have entry to UOM?
I have already emailed the department for law just waiting for a response now, I wanted to see if anybody here could give me an answer

Thanks.

Being a mature student is not one of the entrance criteria.

Manchester says this:

"Access to HE Diploma
We require a QAA-recognised Access to HE Diploma (a minimum of 60 credits overall with at least 45 at Level 3), with merit or distinction in a subject area relevant to the chosen course.

Typical applicant - A mature student returning to education after a number of years.

Typical offer - Pass Access to HE Diploma with 45 level 3 credits (45 Distinctions).

Minimum Grade C or4 in GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Mathematics."

It's not helpful of Manchester to mix a GCSE entry requirement with two descriptive passages, but that's just a matter of presentation.

So would I qualify for an offer as a 20yr old because I searched up and the definition for a mature student for different universities vary.
I find it confusing if its not the entry criteria then why does it say "Typical applicant - A mature student returning to education after a number of years."

Thanks.

That is just a description. Not every applicant has to be typical.
