Is it racist to call a dog Blacky?
It is according to some knob head at work.
My brother has two dogs a labrador called Blacky and a German Shepherd called Darky, owing to their shiny black coats. This came up in conversation, and it was immediately denounced as racist by the resident gay militant in the office.
I just laughed at first, but the gay was serious. It's hardly as bad as that dog on Dambusters is it now?
What are people's thoughts?

If you called a dog Blacky and Darky it would be racist.
If I did it probably wouldn't.
