ARU children’s nursing + lectures

Hi all,
I’m starting my child nursing degree at ARU Cambridge in September. I was just wondering if anyone knows how many lectures it is a week. I’m getting worried as I struggled to sit in a classroom in school and college and i’m not sure how I’ll cope in uni.
Any advice would be appreciated:smile:

Email the department and ask for a copy of this year's timetable.

Hi there,

How exciting to be starting with us in September see you soon!

I have checked with a senior lecturer from Nursing and they have said:
The timetable does vary from 2-3 days in lectures and skills and this is a mix of online and on-campus. Usually, this can be 9am-4pm or 10am-5pm during those 2-3 days (with breaks between for lunch etc). We do expect students to also be studying outside the classroom including self-directed learning.

Our lecturers are very supportive and we also have teams in place including Counselling and Wellbeing and Disability and Dyslexia that can help provide specialist support if needed.

Do let me know any other queries!

Many thanks,
Jemma
