Financing BA (Hons) - Musical Theatre starting 2027/28

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. My daughter is looking to apply to Drama School / university next year to do a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre I believe she will be might to apply for Student Finance for the tuition fee however, I'm concerned this will not cover the full course fees and that there may be a lower limitation on the loan for this course. For Example Mountview, mention the course fee at around £16.5K and then something about only a £6,000 fee loan.

I have tried looking online and on each organisations website but the details seem very vague.

Any guidance on how I can tell which ones will be fully covered by the Gov Student Fee loan would be greatly appreciated.

The institutions she is interested in so far include;
Mountview
Italia Conti
ArtsEd
Bird College
Performers College
GSA Guilford School of Acting.

Many thanks in advance

Steve

Hi Steve,

We fund up to £9,535 for 25/26 students for the funding at their university or up to £6,355 at a private university.

That is based on 25/26 - if she's not beginning for a few years after this just to also advise that regulations and rules can change on a year to year basis. Thanks, Jason
