Why hasn’t my child’s school finished A level physics syllabus ?

I just realized that my child is still doing new syllabus in A level physics three months before the exam.
I thought they should be in revision by now and was stunned when I found out about this.

Is this normal?

It's not unusual. Do you know how for how many weeks he'll be studying new material? The target most schools set themselves is to be done by the Easter holidays. That date can vary by school / region, but is still many weeks away.

Yup, I'm doing a level physics and we're still on the content. Except we're on the last 2 weeks of content before we finish and begin going revision
