Why are offers I’m getting higher than ‘typical’ offers?

I have gotten an offer from Imperial College London for the course Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering and my offer grade is A*A*A. But in their website, the typical offer range from AAA to A*AA. Is this normal or should I call Imperial?

Congrats on your offer. Sometimes Imperial give higher offers for applicants with 3 Alevels. Only they only require 3, so many candidates do have 4 relevant subjects. They may ask for A*A*AA or A*A*A* as conditions depending on how many subjects, but the website may say A*A*A as standard requirement.
It could be your subjects, e.g. if one of them is not a maths/science Alevel or you are missing a recommended (if not required) subject.
Might be other reasons, but Imperial so competitive they just give out high requirements.
I think it's amazing you have an offer. You could call them to ask. I suspect the AAA is contextual.
