Need help picking A Level subjects

Hello! I need some help with choosing my subjects for my A levels. I do my last gcse in may (mathematics) and I've done business studies, accounting, economics and english lang. I didn't enjoy business and whatnot, I mainly did it because my family wanted me to go down that path but I'd like to switch now.

I've been looking into sociology and I've found I'm genuinely interested in the topics covered, so that's one I'm going with. I'd like to include either english lang or english lit but I'm confused about which would be better (I got an A* in english lang gcse if it's relevant) for uni applications. I'm completely lost about what to include for the third subject, so suggestions would be very helpful! Thank you!

There are no required subjects for sociology, but the ones they recommend are psychology, sociology, geography, history, general studies and media studies. So if any of these subjects are available for you and you enjoy them, you could take them.

Hello! I did a Sociology degree after doing A Level, its a really great subject to study. I got a 1st in the end.

What I would say if you are interested in doing a social sciences subject is, I would consider what you want to do WITH the degree long term. A lot of people I know with Sociology degree's did a fourth year of study such as PGCE to teach (this doesn't mean you will necessarily teach Sociology, you might end of teaching something like Health Studies which is very popular on Nursing pathways of Access to HE programs)

Other people I know have gone in to working for local government, or graduate management programs are really popular when you graduate with banks or several other blue chip companies
