About having a course in UK while on spouse visa

Hi there! My name is Shafiqa Jalil. I m Pakistani living in UK on spouse Visa. I want to study what will be requirements and how much will be expenses. I want to do B. S in biotechnology or bioinformatics.

Hello Shafiqa, depending on your status, you will be paying international fees that starts from £18,000+ per year depending on the university. You will need A level equivalence/Diploma/12th Standard, GSCE English and Math for most universities; You may want to look at universities with courses offering biotech or bioinformatic to see their particular requirement.

Hope you are passing good time in the UK. As you told you are on UK in the UK Spouse Visa. You will be amaze to know that depending on the University the costing will be different. I would like to mention 3 university name here.

For BSc in Biotechnology:
Your costing will be £9,535 per annum for September 2025 intake in the University of Manchester.
Your costing will be £9,535 for the first year of study in the University of Birmingham.

For BSc in Bioinformatics:
University of Dundee: International Stage One (IS1) fees are from £12,995, and International Stage Two (IS2) fees are from £19,995
