edge hill maternity placements

Hi any current midwifery atudent at edge hill, what locations did you go to on placement, hospitals? gps? community?

Previous students have had experiences with wards, intrapartum experience and community experience each year. Students wouldn’t normally expect to go on placement until around 10-20 weeks into the degree.

Placements are predominantly in Merseyside and Cheshire. Some examples of previous placement locations include: Liverpool Women’s, Chester, Ormskirk, Bridgewater, Warrington and Whiston.
