Triple Chemistry: 7
Triple Physics: 7
Maths: 5

Ask me whatever you want and I'll do my best to answer

Hmmm. I think History (interesting) Health & Social (teacher was really chill) and English (teacher was essentially my surrogate mother lmao). I'm doing History, English, and Ancient History at A-level now.

Hi.
So I am resitting English language cause I got a 5 and I need a 6. Any advice or tips needed I have no tutor I am a private candidate or maybe give me feedback on my responses!

Also have you gotten ur ucas predicted grades and what does your school based on that predicted grades for a level and do you have any AS official exams in end of year 12?

I would recommend using Seneca, which is a revision website for GCSEs and (some) A-levels to boost your English grade. I'd be happy to mark some of your answers the best I can ^^ I used Seneca obsessively when I was in secondary and I can attest it did boost my grades. (It's also free!)
I haven't gotten any formal predictions yet, but college bases your grades on 1/2 your performance in lessons and 1/2 your actual marks from homework, SSAs, etc. I do mocks in May year 12 and January year 13, before doing my real exams in June year 13. Hope this helps!

So in yr 12 do you have Official AS exams ? Cuz those r ur end of years and I suppose they r ur ucas predicted grades?

Also thank you so much for marking it. Cuz one thing I learned in English is that u can’t revise u need feedback!!

I don't know if those exams are the official AS ones or not, but I know they're mocks and we get A*-D grades for them.

I set out a list of most important subjects (history, english, maths obviously) and least important (sciences and electronics) and focused on the important ones. Really, it doesn't matter if you fail some subjects - most colleges will let you in with a pass in maths and English, and grade requirements only go higher than 4/5 if you're doing a specialist subject like psychology or further maths, so don't sweat it too much.

Sorry, I meant UNLESS you're doing a specialist subject.

Do you mean you want to go to a grammar school or you're in one right now? Don't worry about what your school expects of you, just focus on what you want for your future, they don't control you after all ^^
