Dropping out of uni Primary Education

I am in my second year of my Primary Education (5-11) degree with QTS and I am 4 weeks into my 8 weeks of placement. I really don't think teaching is for me the stress of it all and all the planning. I'd rather be a TA as I actually enjoy that.
Has anyone here dropped out second year or know someone who has done it? Were you able to get a job as a TA straight after dropping out. Did you gain any qualifications from studying first year?
I'd really appreciate any help

Hi! I’m on the same course but 3-7. I’m thinking the exact same thing, I absolutely hate placement. I spoke to Jen at start of placement, Message me and I can give you the options she gave me.

I’m on the same course in first year and have absolutely hated it! Won’t be coming back for second year and hoping to get into a different university next year. I’m struggling with motivation and I’ve spoke to my SE1 lead about replacing the module with an assignment to hopefully give myself more motivation to actually complete the year.
