Transferring University
I am currently a first year studying history at edge hill university(i also did a foundation course here) however, i am very unhappy here mentally with being away from home and not having found many friends and i was wanting to transfer to bangor as it is closer to my hometown. How do i begin the process of this and will my foundation course and first year studies apply over to bangor?

There’s a transfer faq at the top of applications, clearing and ucas
you need to submit a new UCAS application.
do you think that you will be able to complete and pass the year at edge hill? With 2 years previous school you wouldn’t get a tuition fee loan for transferring into year 1 at Bangor. You’d need to transfer into year 2

Hi, sorry you're not settled in your current course. We do accept transfers on occasion, it depends what the course is and what you have studied to date. In the first instance I suggest you e-mail our admissions team [email protected] letting them know your quals and what you have studied so far where you are. all the best
