Received unconditional offer H&SC

I applied for the Oral Health Science degree at Essex University but wasn’t accepted. Instead, I was offered a spot on the HE Health & Social Care course. Are there any students who are currently enrolled in or have completed the Health & Social Care course? I’d like to hear more about it and whether it helped you pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene/Oral Health Science.

Don't take it if it is not the course you applied for. Unis do this just to fill up places on uncompetitive courses. :frown:

Hey! I’m in the exact same boat! Applied for oral health science, I’ve accepted my place on the HE course for health and social and will be starting this September! I really think it will be useful for oral health, if not the course content, then the people and lecturers you meet
A lot of life is about who you know!

You are only able to make your firm and insurance choices once you have received decisions from all the unis you have applied to.
