Sheffield Mpharm Interview

Hi all,
I have an interview at Sheffield this week, this will be my first interview and the only MMI.
From the email, I understood that they could possibly ask about things such as the role of a pharmacist. But they also mentioned the following:
As part of the interview, you will answer questions that focus on your:
Ability to understand and relay research findings to a patient
Empathy and evidence of commitment to caring
Knowledge of, and interest in, university-level study at Sheffield
Motivation for Pharmacy
You will also be assessed on your:
Communication Skills
Critical thinking, problem-solving and logical reasoning
Values and attitudes

I'm not sure what to expect or how to prepare.
I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations for articles or websites.

If anyone had their interview, how did it go? Were the questions direct or scenario-based? Did they ask about the A-level content?

Hi guys I also have my interview this week, mine is tommorow . First of all good luck to everyone we’ve got this. I’ve prepared questions such as :1.why pharmacy ? 2.tell me a bit about yourself3.what are your strengths and weaknesses?4.why Sheffield ? 5.how do you see pharmacists fitting in with the rest of the medical profession?6.how is the role of a pharmacist changing? 7.a Flashcards on all the pharmacy standards so I remember to mention them 8.just the two questions they mentioned for the article. Im also in the same boat I’ve never done a MMI or even a in person interview I hope it goes well for everyone. Just remember you can take a second to think about the question and just be yourself.

There were 5 doors and you would rotate between the doors.
1 Station asked about motivations for Sheffield and the other was pharmacy

Hi I have an interview too
I was just wondering if they expect you to talk for the full 5 minutes I feel like I'd run out of things to say in the first 3 minutes 😭

They continue to ask questions until the time is up! Make sure you speak slowly and elaborate on your answers

They do take some time when it comes to filling out details prior to the actual questions and they talk back too like a proper conversation so that eat ups some time

Hi! Congrats on your interview, I was just wondering if you had any insight on the situational judgement stations. What were the questions like? Did it involve specific scenarios or general judgement on vague topics?

Thank you! It was a specific scenario, one about confidentiality and one about one that was more general

did they ask you any of the questions from 2,3,5 and 6 that u listed above?

no they didn’t ask any of those. they just ask why u chose pharmacy, why sheffield , about the article and two ethical scenarios. and then based on the answer u give for each question they’ll follow up with smaller questions to make up the time
