Hello,

Great to hear you are thinking of studying Psychology!

Our Psychology department consistently performs well, and the University it's self is ranked highly in the UK. One of our top selling points is our Psychology Employability Programme which allows students to gain work experience alongside their studies without having to do a placement year. This allows students to become part of the research team, utilising incredible facilities such as our world-class Infant and Child Development Lab which has produced some fascinating research. I was lucky enough to have a PEP placement in our Neuroscience of Speech and Action Lab during my undergraduate degree which gave me hands on research skills and experiences to discuss in my postgraduate interviews. We also offer a study abroad year if that is something you would be interested in!
