hey i got my confirmation email!! offered for the bio course, anyone else?

I’ve applied for Law but no hear anything back yet - I’m wondering if this is because I’m going to be rejected? What did you write in your application? For context, I live in Scotland, got all As on my Nat5 (GCSE equivalent exams) and have no special circumstances besides being the first of my family to go to University but I don’t get free school meals or anything. Does this make me an undesirable candidate?

Yes, sorry that's what I meant. I was surprised that the application was that simple and felt disappointed that I didn't get to show my genuine passion for the subject. After reading into it, UNIQ explicitly says that they prioritise disadvantaged students which makes me think my application will be poor considering I'm only eligible for one thing (first to go to Uni in my family). Apologies for the confusion, I was just wondering what I process was. If you don't mind me asking, do you qualify for free school meals etc?

Nope I don't qualify for anything I only hit the minimum requirements as a state school student as I only sort of half tick some boxes so I don't quite qualify for w.p in some unis but do at others. For Oxford I don't. Hope that helps xx

Hi guys. I got an email confirming my Palace for the history spring course yesterday. Don't worry if you haven't got an email yet - I think right now they are only confirming places for the spring residentials (biology, history and Theology+religion). Also, don't panic about not meeting enough criteria: I only had the minimal and still got a place. Hope this helps 😊

yaaaay!! congrats!! im so excited for it all; currently doing pathway to bath since i didnt anticipate getting into both summer/spring programmes, i hope uniq wont be too intensive since pathway to bath’s project is quite taxing.
