Help me with my a level subject

If I’m aiming for a bachelor’s in economics at UCL and E&M at kcl, will taking fine art alongside maths and economics in A-levels affect my chances of getting admitted? I'm also doing an EPQ based on economics topic and entered two essays competitions, continue on doing further readings in the topic, did a introductory course on statistics and econometrics and established my own business as well as a few leadership roles inside the school, would it still put me at a disadvantage compared to those who took academic subjects like physics, history, etc. Or do universities mainly care about the required and preferred subject and for the rest, as long as you achieve an A star it's okay ?? Someone please give me an insight because this is what's keeping me stressed these past few days. I hope those top unis don't:t care much because art is something I do truly enjoy and know for sure that I can get a good grade in.

I think it's better you do a subject like art that you enjoy and will do well in than a subject that you don't enjoy, and therefore might not put as much effort into.

Check the 'entry requirements' for the sort of degree you want to do at a range of different Unis.
Yes, your assumption is correct. Unis will state clearly what is essential or preferred, and that usually only 1 or 2 subjects, and therefore your other subject can be just something you enjoy and where you feel confident of a good grade.

Don't just look at 'London' -
Undergraduate | School of Economics | University of Bristol
Economics | Undergraduate study | Loughborough University
etc.
