Durham Applicants (LNAT)

I just got my LNAT score and i got 24. With predicted grades of A*AA, a good PS, and 9As 1A* in my GCSEs do i still have a good chance of getting into Durham as a home student?
I also applied to Bristol.
Wondering what other Durham law offer holders got in the LNAT

I received an offer and got 25, so I dont see any reason as to why you’d get rejected!

Lots of people are still waiting to hear a decision.

No don't think so, I went to their open day and they said they had 2000+ applications for law and are looking to make 380 offers, implying they haven't given out all the offers yet.

I am looking at Durham but only got a score of 16 should of cancelled I was not well so annoyed with myself now

I also scored relatively low on the LNAT (17) and got an offer about a week ago. I think that Durham is more focused on the written part from what I have read. Personally, I was also very disappointed with my results because I felt it had gone better; just know that there is still a chance.

Are u sure thats what they said? that would give them an acceptance rate of below 20% which is nearly Oxbridge acceptance rates? im pretty sure their offer rates in recent years for Durham was around 40-50% it would be a large jump to go to less than half of that considering their league table rankings havent changed

Fairly sure as it is how the law admissions chap began the lecture. However, it could be interpreted that he meant they expect to have 380 ish law students accept their offer and join the cohort with more offers being made overall/ not taken up.

that maybe makes more sense because if say (and i do not know the facts) half the offer holders accepted, that would give them an applicant/offer ratio of around 40% which is around normal for durham

i got an offer from durham back in december and my lnat was a 28

I’m a Scottish applicant and achieved 5As at higher and predicted 3As at advanced higher, but I scored a 19 on the lnat. Don’t feel like I have a chance at getting in anymore.
