Coventry university exam certificates

Hello all, I have been asked by Coventry university for my exam certificates but over the past 14 years they have gone missing and I simply do not have them. I have provided them with my statement of results I got from my Previous schools for GCSE and ALevel and given them the school email to confirm results. Would this be accepted? I don’t have the results and really don’t have any spare money to be having to buy them right now? And do not want to be putting my learning on hold because of this as I am so excited to be eyeing a degree in my 30’s
Thank you!

I know this isn't the answer you want. But I think, unless the university accepts your school verifying (but they might not have kept copies), it to ask for replacements or equivalent from exam boards. I think that is likely to be quite expensive.
For example: AQA seems to be £45, but I'm not sure if it's per qualification, per all GCSEs on that board or everything for that cost.

I would wait for your university to get back to you first.

Hi,
Universities often require official exam certificates, but they may accept your alternative documentation if it can be verified directly by your previous schools. I'd suggest explaining your situation, emphasizing the difficulty and cost of obtaining replacements. You could also inquire via email ([email protected]) if they could make an exception or grant provisional admission while you sort things out.
Hope this helps
