It’s going to be a temperature sensor as suggested by my teacher, he said looking at June 2022 is a good example + the Pearson-suggested sample assessment material with paper reference 31725H

any other information you can give regarding the upcoming test? maybe which projects to look at on the aurdino booklet or specific components to study their programming/how to plug in on the breadboard?

hey I’m sorry for the late reply esp if you started your exam already 😅 so the task is using a temperature sensor to operate an injection moulding machine (if temperature = x then motor will operate/emergency override switch/visual assists for enhanced user experience). Unfortunately I can’t give much help with the technical stuff as I’m not so good with it nor do I actually have access to the arduino booklet (we use flowcode, BL0011). You can find the e-blocks data sheet online which goes through the components which you may be using (not just for BL0011). The external components that I’m using include only a motor (which we’re using a handheld fan to represent) and the temp sensor. The LEDs and LCD are already on the downstream connected combo board.
I’m sorry I can’t give more technical info, I think I’ll barely scrape a pass in this unit solely due to my lack of knowledge 😩 try get your teacher to go through the June 2022 in class + the sample assessment material if you haven’t started the exam already.
Best of luck!!
