Hey how's everyone doing? I'm a Scottish applicant based in Glasgow and I've got an unconditional offer to Edinburgh. Edinburgh is my top choice so I'm really excited and can't wait to start in September!

Where is everybody from? Is edinburgh your firm or insurance?

Hey! I’m a Scottish student from Caithness, super excited to have gotten a conditional offer from Edinburgh! Congrats on your unconditional that’s amazing! its so exciting to have a next step :smile:

so far, Edinburgh is my insurance, but even after everything its been frightening to take the next step to confirm that LOL

I've always wanted to visit Caithness it's absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully I'll have time in the summer!

I scrolled around for a bit but haven't made my choices yet. I think there's a thread where people rank halls (?) but it depends on your priorities I guess
I've heard Kincaid and Darroch are quite nice? But rent in Edi is so high it's scary

im Scottish too and edi is my firm, I need BB in advanced chem and bio

Are you a RUK applicant? I think atm I've only heard Scottish applicants getting offers.
But anyhow they should be making most offers in end of March like they promised

hopefully! its so expensive though im also really specific with where my accom will be bc im hoping to join the swim team so I need to be near the pool

oo also since ur unconditional im guessing you have advanced bio and chem, any advice bc their v hard and im so nervous I won't get my conditions 😬

Haha, I’d definitely aim for summer, its beautiful here but the wind is tough!

Firm will be Glasgow I think! but it’s a tough choice I loved both campuses so much 🥲

Yea ensuite is crazily expensive it's off my list lol. But there are quite a few halls around pleasance/st Leonard's I think.
Do you compete in swimming? I used to but that was quite some time ago 😭
