Trig troubles

Hello
I'm struggling with Trig right now, especially with questions like this - Prove that there are no real solutions to the equation
30 sec^2 x 2 cos x = 7( sec x + 1).
There are just so many routes to go down.. any advice?

Assuming your formatting is ok, just use the basic sec-cos relationship and it should be straightforward?

I doubt the equation is correct because the solution(s) has/have real roots.

The question seems more like a thread we had seen in this forum quite some time ago.
