No worries about replies lol i get it
I would actually die to take latin a-level omg that literally sounds like my dream!! I tried to start learning it at home a couple of years ago but school takes priority blah blah blah.
My A-Levels are French, German, History and Economics (and an EPQ) - i wanted to do Politics but it clashed with French so i had to choose between the two :frown:
Good luck for exam season!!

I think you probably dodged a bullet with politics - year 2 is some really interesting, more conceptual stuff but year 1 is sooo much content and detail and memorisation I really struggle to enjoy it 😬
Your A Level combination sounds really interesting!! Have you had any exams yet? I really hope they've gone/will go well for you!!!

I'm glad you think it went okay!! everyone always underestimates how they do in exams too so I'm sure it went well I'm so glad
I had English lit last week and I also think it went okay!! To my great surprise hahah! My next is on Tuesday - I have my first Latin and politics papers on the same day 😬 freaking out a little bit. It still doesn't feel real that this is the moment we've been working towards for the past 2 years!!

current student at pem (compsci)! lmk if you have any questions about the college / your course and i can find an answer for you

Hi, I'm applying this year for Engineering and have seen that it's super competitive at Pembroke. Do you know any engineers and if so could you ask how they did in their ESAT and interviews. Don't worry if not - I know its quite a big ask, but if you could that would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Hey! I thought it might be a nice idea to start a thread for people who have offers specifically from Pembroke, Cambridge seeing as we will hopefully end up meeting each other in October )
I have an offer for Law, and I'm currently studying English lit, politics, Latin and AS maths. Hopefully some more people will see this and we can all introduce ourselves

Yeah of course, that's cool that you're thinking of applying you should definitely go for it : ) I was home educated before sixth form so I only did 6 GCSEs - I got 999988, predicted A*A*A* and in the LNAT I got 33. If you have any questions about the application or interview process or anything just lmk : )
