Glasgow law low LNAT

I’m hoping to get into Scot’s law this year at Glasgow but I scored 19/42 on the LNAT. I have 5As at higher, two forms of law work experience but I fear that my LNAT will let me down. I know that the minimum cut off in previous years has been 18, but I’m wondering what my chances are at getting an offer since I’ve scored below the average LNAT.

I agree that it’s under average, however do you think it would really put me out of the running considering I tick every other box?

If you are contextual you should be ok. Non contextual; possibly not

If made an offer already back in October with condition of obtain satisfactory LNAT score - do you think 19 would be enough for an unconditional if the cut off was 18 again? Gap year student for context*

I think Glasgow is pretty fair with contextuals with lower LNATs with scores such as 19. Only guessing but would think that would be enough!

Ps - I have lower LNAT and no offer but still living in hope. Think it would be terrible for Glas to send you offer (after you've sat LNAT) to take it away again. Have saw people with offers though who had not yet sat the LNAT (then got low score) - that's different. Don't know why Glas do this though. Pretty sure you'll be fine.

Sorry just to clarify I’m not a contextual student, just taken a gap year- wasn’t sure that they also made contextual offers in terms of LNAT scores I thought it was just grades- hoping with the offer already that 19 will be above cut off score-

I’m guessing ‘satisfactory’ could mean anything above their cutoff hopefully🤞🏻

I got 2/42 and got rejected today, since our scores our very close, your place is not guaranteed. I can't say for sure though. Good Luck!! x

Sorry to hear that - can you clarify your LNAT score again pls? And are you contextual?

Really? I think this candidate would be fine as Glasgow definitely prioritise grades over how high an LNAT is. Are you a member of the admissions team?

Thank you for your passive aggressive reply. As Ross said above, they were rejected with 20 (assume they meant 20, not 2). I really hope Glasgow are lenient with scores of 18/19 as I myself am in the same bracket

No problem. I just assumed Ross meant 2 as that is what they typed. I really do believe SpicyPepper will be fine considering grades and past candidates successes.

In the meantime, why don't you get off the student room and stop bringing people down as I have seen you on a plethera of threads, bullying.

Again, you're talking nonsense. The admins can see all my posts. You said you were non contextual and had been offered Glasgow with grades below standard. I wasn't the only one that called you out on that post for being a troll. I've always had positive interactions on here until today when you and 'bhaig' (another troll) are now giving me grief. Same person perhaps?

Do you think a score of 19, with achieved grades of AAA at A level(entry requirement grades) may be enough?
