MSc Physician Associate Graduate, eligible for MSc Dietetics funding??

I am a recent MSc Physician Associate grad. I used SFE Masters Loan plus NHS 5k Bursary to fund the 2 year degree.

With the future of PA’s looking pretty bleak, I am eager to retrain in another healthcare profession as all I want to do is work in Healthcare!

I am hoping to study MSc Dietetics pre-reg, but I am wondering if eligible for the masters / undergraduate funding situation. I know you can get funding for the maintenance and tuition loan from SFE even if you have studied before as it is an ‘exception’ degree - but what if I have already trained in a healthcare degree?

It wasn’t a pre-reg course like MSc nursing or midwifery, and wasn’t funded via SFE ‘exception’ healthcare path. It was the standard Masters degree SFE loan I used. Therefore would I be eligible to the following funding?:

“Depending on your UK residency, you could be eligible for tuition fee and maintenance loans via the Student Loans Company (SLC) - even if loans have been taken out for a previous undergraduate degree.
If you're eligible for loans from SLC, you can also apply for supplementary funding from the NHS Learning Support Fund.”

Please advise
Hi there, what is the name of the university you are thinking of applying to? Can you please confirm the exact course title? Is this a Full Time or Part Time course? How many years is the course in total? When are you planning to start your studies? Thank you, Stephen.
Hi again, also, are you already registered in this field? Thanks, Stephen
