are my a levels okay for politics/ ir?

I study english lit, psych and history of art- would these be okay for politics or ir, at a russel group/ good uni?

I dropped my politics a level- i LOVE the subject, but not the a level exams, but would I enjoy the degree

What (specific) universities are you maybe looking to apply to?

I can’t see why that combination wouldn’t be acceptable:

All politics and IR courses I’ve seen don’t have specific subject requirements. Plus your subjects link to politics&IR well such as history and the fact that they’re essay based. A level politics introduces you to socialism and conservatism but even if you don’t do politics A level, you’ll learn about them from scratch at uni. But a lot Pol/IR degrees also cover other ideologies like constructivism, which isn’t covered at A level. I don’t think not doing politics will put you at a disadvantage especially since most of the content in that degree isn’t covered at a level. If you’re interested in the subject you’ll be fine
