Thought I'd make a post for this years applicants. I assume we won't hear anything regarding interviews until after the deadline?

I have also applied for the 2025 intake and not yet heard anything, so I think we’re in the same boat!

Same havent heard! Although only applied a week before the deadline. Has anyone heard anything, apparently they interviewed a few people in December but will be doing the rest in April. Also how competitive is the program? Worried that my thesis proposal may not be enough (although I have the grades).

Sharing this from the MSt in IR team: “we have begun sending out invitations to interviews as of 14.03.2025, and expect to have completed this process by 21.03.2025”

I've contacted the department and their update is that a decision will be made 10 days after an interview and communicated to candidates within the six week period thereafter.

congratulations! would you mind telling us the (approximate) date of your interview? just so we know how quickly the actual timeline is, compared with the department’s “official timeline”

Are you native speaker? I guess they will send the offers to non- native speakers after reviewing the requirements of the language with the university.
