Student life and societies ages?

I am 31 years old about to go to Birkbeck. However I look much younger and have friends who are mid-20s, so I dunno how much of an issue my age is really. I don't think I'd be comfortable with 18 year old though. (Socially i mean. In the classes it's no problem).
Will people in societies find me totally weird to be there? particularly the ones that are in other London unis and have more activities, with no doubt very ylung people.

I haven’t gone to Birkbeck but I don’t think that people would find it weird (especially of you look younger than 31). Even if they find it weird, I would have imagined that most student societies are open to all students regardless of age.
