Border Force Online Assessment Centre (OAC) 2025

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had completed the online assessment centre for the border force before? I have completed mine and scored 29/40. I am unsure if this is a good score or not. I know next step would be vetting, just wondering if anyone knows a rough idea of how long it normally takes for this to be completed and whether they were given provisional offers and progressed or not based on the score above.

Many Thanks

I applied September, live interview beginning of Dec, got email saying passed OAC middle of December nothing since.

I had an email saying successful 2 days after my OAC. I have then had an email 2 weeks or so ago saying they were still reviewing results and nothing since!

Has anyone heard anything back yet? What was everyone's scores? I passed, however I think my score will put me on reserves. I was absolutely gutted as my internet cut off through the interview.

In the same boat. My last communication from them was 01/01/25 saying I'd passed the OAC. I scored 9 x 2.0 and 1 x 3.0 = 21.0
Not great, but a passing value.

I check the website daily. I have a friend who works in the intelligence community - he's of the opinion that if we haven't heard by now, it's unlikely we will.

Hi, I scored the same. 9 x 2 and 1 x 3.
Where have you applied for?
I have a feeling it will be reserves.

Someone who was in another chat scored 40, and they got an offer last week.

This is for Poole.

I have been advised that a 20 is a fail. I understand that the recruitment round looks at all passing candidates and grade them on a bell curve making offers to the best. If the years cohort were particularly poor at the location applied for, we might still be in with a chance. But if there were lots of 40s...

I've mentally prepared myself for reserves as I have seen a lot of high scores. I'll re-apply in September again as I know where I went wrong in my interview. I'm absolutely determined to get it right next time.

20 isn't a fail as I know someone who scored 20 and passed. As long as you get 10 x 2 or above then you'll pass.

I think realistically you need around 30+ to get an offer. I might be wrong, however those who have been offered jobs have been scores over 30.

Hey folks,

Has anyone recieved any offers from their reserve list? I scored 36/40 for Belfast and was placed on reserve but haven't heard anything since March when I found out.
