UCL Slade interview?

What does it mean if you do get an interview? What are the chances of being accepted?
My portfolio is strong yet I am 1 ib point under the requirement, should I still go to the interview or leave it? Really don’t want a rejection so I’d rather know from beforehand..

The question now is how many people are interviewed yearly and how many they take, anyone knows?

I wonder if they‘d invite people to an interview without checking their grades first. Seems like it would be a waste of their time

they said interviews would take place on the week of the 17th and the week of the 24th.. does that mean they could send out interview invites next week as well? or would some people just get another week to prepare?

I had a look in the UCL Academic Manual and it says this:
"An interview is a meeting with an applicant for admission as a student that takes places only once it has been established that the applicant meets, or is likely to meet, UCL's entry requirements and is used only for selection purposes and not solely as a means of recruitment."
So if you have an interview that means your grades are acceptable.

They may, I am in foundation at UAL, hardly anyone has said they have gotten an interview so maybe they’re still sending them, mine is only on the 24th, which is quite far from now so don’t loose hope

I think its week commencing 24th as people are reporting here, no one has said they have an interview earlier
