Student loan from student finance of England

I came to the uk in sept 2023. I will be done with my a levels in 2026 and go to uni in that year as well. as I am still considered a international student I have to pay full tuition fees which quite expensive. so I thought I could apply for student Finance. the question is am I eligible for it and how much will I get? I want to study nursing and the fees are very high even for non Russel group universities.

Hi there, for to be eligible for Student Finance support, you will need to have settled status in the UK or Settled Status awarded under the EU Settlement Scheme), this must have been granted before the first day of the first academic year of their course. You will also require to have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands for the three years prior to the first day of the first academic year of the course, and be able to provide Home Office status evidence for this period. You must be an ordinarily resident in England on the first day of the first academic year of the course. Thanks, Stephen
