Gateway to Medicine interviews

Hi, I've just received an interview for gateway to med at Aberdeen and I'm really nervous!! Does anyone have any tips to go about preparing and just what to expect? Also is it similar to normal medicine interviews? Thanks!

Hi, my stations last year were teamwork motivation and communication (I think). there were no scenarios.

Hey did u get a confirmation email straight after you chose your slot cause I chose mine and still haven’t got a confirmation email yet

Does anyone know whether the interviews are given out after looking at the grades or whether grades are looked at after interviews and then see whether an offer is given?

They’re given out after looking at grades, the interviewers know nothing about u except ur name.

Some people got rejected this year either because u don’t meet the eligibility requirements or the academics. But they’ll have looked at ur grades before u get offered an interview

i received an interview but im a little scared that they just didn’t look at my grades and they just sent out interviews cus im eligible for the course itself xx

They will send an offer depending on your grades, so if you don't have them yet you will by end of S6 or predicted too

you wouldn't have got interview if your grades or predicted grades were not enough for them

Hey, just wondering how you prepped for each topic? I've been watching a few videos on youtube and most of them are scenario based. Also what was the MMI like, was it you moving to different rooms or just different booths? Thank you!
