St John’s Cambridge Postgrad Offer Holders

Hi, has anyone else been allocated to St John’s College for postgrad (Master’s)?
It was my first choice and I’m very excited! Now just have to wait for funding decisions to come in :/

hey there! international student, accepted to mphil in political thought & intellectual history, got my st. johns offer sometime late jan and am very excited to see if any funding comes through. do you guys know how often st johns provides funding for postgrad studies? i emailed the college and they told me the following:

"The Benefactors Competition closes on 1 March and the results are likely to be announced after mid-April. You do not need to do anything further to be considered in the Competition. Our only other sources of funding are for South African nationals and students studying a specific area of Chinese Studies."

Congrats! They don’t publish how many funding opportunities they give out, but apparently St John’s is one of the more generous colleges. Everyone with an offer gets entered for the benefactors scholarship I believe, so we just have to wait until they start announcing in March!

I found out late January, the day after I received my offer from Cambridge. I was a pretty early applicant so that might have helped!

I got my conditional offer last day of Jan and then got accepted about 3 weeks later to St John’s as my first choice

I got accepted to johns on 4th feb, 8 days after getting my offer

I received an email from the johns postgraduate administrator the day I got my acceptance with my conditional offer and asking me to fill in an acceptance form

I got accepted to Johns within the week I got my offer, can't remember the exact date but it was all in late January. Got the email with the offer from Johns to sign the following week.
