Suggestions on where to apply/ look for work experience (year 11)

Hi I'm in year 11 and I'm really struggling to find work experience. I want to go into law but i don't necessarily need work experience in that sector - does anyone have any suggestions about where to apply and best places to gaurantee a work experience?

I’m not sure there’s a guaranteed route to work experience but be persistent. Send a succinct email with an attached CV to as many different firms as you could get to (family law, legal defence/prosecution, solicitors etc) Perhaps if you are in a big city, trying large companies with a legal department might also be worth a go? Explain briefly why you would like to do work experience there and why you would be a good candidate. Research each company so you can be a little bit specific and ideally personally address the email. You may get little or no response from many of them but keep going. If you personally know anyone in law (a friends parents etc) then definitely ask them! Be flexible on when you can do it as some may just offer work experience for a couple of weeks each year so in your email you could specify school holidays and give examples of the main ones but also say you could potentially do others if needed. depends on where you live have you tried searching ups local law firms or business that provide work experience

yeah i did, however ive emailed the ones that do offer work ex and havent recieved anything back from them. is it work going to visit the firm and asking them face to face? Trouble is idk if they would entertain

its business they get a lot of emails coming in for them so just give them a reminder, follow up
