Dentistry Work Experience

I need to find work experience ideally this summer before year 13 for dentistry, if any year 13's have previously got work experience around surrey/london, could you send me the links to the places

My daughter did a week of dentistry work experience and got this by asking her own dentist 😂

Email now but if you don’t get anywhere with that then when you next visit - ask in person (but also hand in a printed version of your CV and a covering letter at the same time) They may say no or ask you to email them but at least you will have shown you are 1) keen and 2) efficient.

Other than that, be persistent and start asking now! It is common to get rejected or get no response at all but keep trying. Email (with attached CV) as many dentists/orthodontists/dental hygienists etc as you could possibly get to. If you can, send emails to each dentist addressed personally. Be as flexible as you can with your availability - Easter/half term/after exams/summer hols/oct half term are all good! You are more likely to get an opportunity if you know of any friends parents etc that are in the career (dental assistants or receptionists might be willing to put in a good word for you!)
