Chemistry should be your priority fist of all - in fact biology is not as necessary, like wise i think that the third choice depends if you want to be a doctor nurse etc.

It might be quite nice not to have all sciences? think about what you think you'll enjoy most because those subjects are probably going to be the ones you get the best grades in

i think all your options are completely fine for working in the medical field as they are all very facilitating (especially because you have biology + chemistry).
If you're thinking about medicine in particular, I might recommend doing option 1 (especially if you want to apply to universities like Cambridge that look for very scientific subjects) or option 2 because these options meet the entry requirements for the widest range of medical schools. Physical Education is not completely off the table though, there are plenty of medical schools that will still accept this as your 3rd subject (to be completely honest - you can apply for medicine pretty much anywhere as long as you have biology and chemistry)

I think its still difficult to say which option you should choose because I don't know you personally. My advice would be to choose the subject that you enjoy AND you are fairly good at (you don't have to be perfect or anything, it just needs to suit your skill set). A-levels are quite a jump from igcse/gcse so you need to make sure the subject you pick is one you are interested in and don't mind spending lots of time studying + working on. If you think you are someone who is better at more problem-solving, maths based questions - maybe lean more towards choosing physics. If you are someone who likes writing essays/ longer answers then maybe psychology would be more suited to you. I will admit i don't know much about physical education but i hear from my friends that some of the content is quite similar to biology. If you think you are equally good at both maybe see which one you like more content-wise (speak to students who are taking the subjects, look at the specifications etc)

sorry that's really long hope it helps !! xx

I am aiming to be a doctor and almost everyone i talked to said physics/maths is very crucial for medical universities, i hate those subjects and if i could i want to choose psychology or physical education is there anything else i can do ?

Don’t do physcology I do 5 a levels and physcology is just loads on waffling information. Do physical education but physcology is preferred not a must

frankly speaking, at UK universities the only subject that ALL medical schools ask for is chemistry - but i would recommend doing also biology because it widens the range of schools you can apply to. Im a med applicant and i do bio chem psychology as my 3 levels - you definitely don't need to do physics or maths (unless you're applying to Cambridge medicine )

thank youu

It’s only Cambridge that has this requirement AFAIK. Are you looking to apply to Cambridge?

Someone else said u don’t necessarily need biology, but if u want to do medicine and don’t have biology a level it will reallyyy narrow your choices of unis. But yeah 3rd subject generally doesn’t matter (check the websites of unis ur potentially interested in)

Sorry for some reason i cant post a question but im very desperate. I am giving my IGCSE exams this year and im enrolled in a school from where i completed my registration for 5 subjects. I had a problem and couldn’t complete my registration for maths and i cannot get that done from school. Is it possible to register with another school as a private candidate and have only my maths exam in a different centre or would that be a problem in any way?
