Psychology Conversion, Exeter, Bristol or Cardiff

Hi I've got offers to study psychology conversion at Exeter, Bristol and Cardiff. Still waiting on St Andrews reply. Out of the the three I've got offers for, what do people think is the best uni for psychology? Anyone who has done the courses at these uni's what did you like and what did you not like?

Thanks.

Hello!

I've just finished my MSc Psychology conversion and really enjoyed it, the key thing to look out for is that the course is accredited by the British Psychology Society. I would have a look at their quality report from the Office for Students too

I went to Arden University where they had a mix of blended learning and a 100% online option and I had a really great time

Hi there!

Current psychology student here at Cardiff  Whilst I'm doing the undergraduate, since the masters is a conversion, content tends to mirror each other.

I would say a strength about the course is that all fields of psychology here at Cardiff are pretty strong - the School of Psychology is pretty well funded. Lectures are really interesting and staff are always intergrating their own research into our learning. Whatever area of psychology you're into, there's probably a member of staff here studying it

Another strength I would say is that the conversion course offers a 12-week-ish placement! As someone who has done a placement year, its a brilliant opportunity and you get to develop so many useful skills.

I always hear how its a bit nerve-wracking changing careers, but conversion course students do end up going into pretty decent careers. In my first year and 2nd year, I had two members of staff teaching my tutorials, who went into psychology through the Cardiff conversion course! I thought that was pretty neat

Let me know if I can help answer anything else!
