HELP! EPQ and research topics

I’m a Y12 student who has to do a short researched presentation to my tutor on a topic of my choice. This will be judged and written about in my UCAS reference for my VetMed application. I’m also likely to do an EPQ soon after which is obviously graded and may be looked upon also.
The potential titles I’ve got for either are:
- the different approaches to prevent and control zoonotic diseases in humans and animals
- elephants memories and their neurology
- necropsy significance in veterinary medicine
-assessing the impact of environmental enrichment on the behaviour of captive big cats

These are obviously all animal/veterinary topics but I’m wondering which would be better for a longer project and would show my skills and interest the most???

I’m no expert but I think you should pick one that interests you the most as you will be researching it a lot and are likely to get a better grade in something you are engaged in. It will make your life (and project) massively better if you pick a topic that has a fair bit of research papers and information around it already - this will give you a good amount of material for using and referencing too (which you will need!)
Make your title a question that has more than one side and that you could answer at the end of your EPQ (a comparison of…, or how… effects…, or is it possible to measure the impact of… on …, etc) Perhaps look at ethical implications of your topics. Good luck
