Hi there,

You can find out more about UEA accommodation here but essentially there are lots of different choices depending on what suits you, such as en-suite, on- or off-campus, and different locations. If you would prefer not to live with members of the opposite sex for any reason, you would need to let UEA know in advance by sending an email to [email protected]. They will try their best to help, but same-sex accommodation can't be gauranteed.

Just checking email re DBS for medicine is real and if my daughter does it now it won’t be too early as she has had a reminder email?!

I've already done mine. I'm not sure what you mean by being 'too early'?

That’s fine she’s done hers now. Usually it has to be done within so many weeks of starting but assume it’s all ok as they’ve requested it now!

Hi, just wondering about this. UEA has acknowledged my daughter having firmed her offer, but hasn't received any requests for DBS or anything else. Is anyone else in the same boat/
