Help!!! Got 21% turnitin similarity on my IB TOK essay on Managebac

I also used other checkers which all indicated less than 10% similarity for my tok essay. How can I even improve? I need help, I know over 20% is dangerous for urnitin similarity... Please help me, urgent! Thank you for whoever is gonna help :::: :smile:

hi! I think for TOK that's fine because everybody does the same questions so naturally the similarity is higher. Try to use the "Turnitin" tool on google docs (it's free, you can add as an extension). if you have actually plagiarised something it will show up. just be mindful that sometimes totally original content is flagged as plagiarised even if it is as sentence anybody could have come up with (mine flagged "in the human sciences" as plagiarism which obviously isn't 😅).

21% similarity isn't a deal-breaker, especially if the similarities are because of common knowledge, frequently used in your topic. But you can try re working your essay on tilf website, following the feedabck so you improve it and at the same time make it more unique to decrease the %
