University vs course hellppp

i received an offer from UCL (yaayaayya) i know its one of the top universities and prestigious but the only problem is i dont know if i am going to like the course. I want to do Politics and Economics, and other not so prestigious unis have accepted me to the course I want to do( although not all my offers have been given to me i am planning for worst case scenario) but the course i applied to for UCL is History Politics and Economics. I only applied to it because UCL didnt do Politics and Economics and i lowkey didnt think i would get accepted. I dont do history alevel (I do politics economics and maths) so i dont know if i am going to like it or hate it
I want to know whether i should do the UCL course or i should go to a not so prestigous uni and do the course i want
P.S i dont know what i want to do in the future in terms of career so doing HPE at UCL wont be detrimental. its just i have no idea what the course entails.
thanks in advance

'Course' is always far more important than 'Uni'..

It doesnt matter how fancy the Uni is, if you dont enjoy what you are studying every day, its going to a miserable 3 years.
Pick the course that excites you - where they have the course units that interest and intrigue you.

There is a whole heap of nonsense talked about Uni 'prestige' and other nebulous stuff. Just remember that rankings etc are just advertising / marketing fluff. They dont actually mean anything significant. Pick the Uni where you will feel happiest.

'and other not so prestigious unis have accepted me to the course I want to do'

This sentence is everything. The course you wanted to do will haunt you at times when things aren't going so well if you pick a course you were meh about and only chose it because the Uni seemed more prestigious.

If in doubt, go to offer hold days and really scrutinise what is on offer for you

Btw you can drop history after the first year if that sways you and just do politics and economics at UCL
