Applying for accommodation and student finance

Okay, so my school helped with actually applying to unis, but no one knows when to apply for said subjects....

SO I NEED YOUR HELP

Do you guys know when to apply, especially for Lanc uni?

Like, can I just apply for both at any time I want to? Or is there set days for each one/ each uni?

And what about if I don't get into Lanc or wtvr and have to Chester my insurance choice, like does that matter? Or end up not going at all? Am i fined for taking it out for a uni/ course if I don't end up going?

Thanks,

Hannah

Can you clarify this a bit :

You have 3 offers at Wolverhampton, Chester and Lancaster (or UCLAN)?
For which degree subject?

Are you asking about how / when to choose your Firm and Insurance?
Are you asking about when to apply for accommodation?

Hi @swarbyyy7

Congratulations on receiving an offer from us 😀

If you choose Chester as your firm or insurance choice, we recommend applying for accommodation at this point. Within a week of choosing Chester as your firm or insurance choice you should receive an email with details on how to apply. You won't be fined or anything if you don't end up coming to Chester. You can find more information on applying here - https://www.chester.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/apply/

Student Finance applications open mid-March and universities will recommend that you apply as soon as possible. As an offer holder at Chester you'll receive an email with more information on Student Finance and how to apply. UCAS have some helpful information on tuition fees and student loans here - https://www.ucas.com/money-and-student-life/money/student-finance/undergraduate-tuition-fees-and-student-loans

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any other questions - no question is a silly question!

Best wishes,
Becky

Student finance applications are expected to open mid-March although the date has yet to be confirmed. You can apply before you decide which uni you want to firm. Just put your best guess in for now as it can be changed easily later.

Details of when and how to apply for accommodation should be on the uni websites.
